brotes

Chokin explained how to sprout seeds in a way that was way easier than what i had tried before. these were alfalfa sprouts

1. in a tray or pan or flat tupperware container at least 2 inches deep, put a thin cloth or layer of paper towels along the bottom
2. soak seeds for 6 hours (the amount depends on the size of the pan. keep them spread out, you don't need a ton since they grow so much, probably no more than 1/4 cup per tray)
3. spread the seeds over the towel evenly and not too crowded
4. keep them in a place without light but with fresh air, i.e. put them in a cabinet or cover with a towel with an air hole.
5. twice a day spray the seeds with a spray bottle, not too wet, just a layer of water to keep them moist.
6. Do this for FOUR days
7. After 4 days, put the sprouts out in direct sunlight to activate the chlorofil for about 4 hours.

and then you have delicious sprouts! watch out for mold!
